I am so excited to say that this week was our first NOVA presentation. Please ask your child to tell you what they learned every Monday! Last week a lot of time was spent in the computer lab getting the A+ testing done. As a result we did not have a Grammar test and we were not able to read any chapters in Gilly. This week we will continue to to read, I am hoping to get our first essay underway as well as continuing in our preposition test. This week we are testing on letters s-n. I am also excited to say that AR goals have been made and students have already started taking tests and by this week students need to be at 25 % of their goal.
Also this week parent teacher conference slips are going to be sent home. Please return them as soon as possible to help ensure the most convenient time for your schedule.

Copy and Spell, WOD, Tuesday- Word Meaning, WOD, Wednesday-Word Study, WOD,
Thursday-Cover an Spell/Edit for Spelling, WOD
Monday-
Thursday = Read 20 minutes and write two descriptive sentences about what they
read.
By
Friday- Cursive (This is given out on Monday and two words will be chosen as
bonus spelling words.)
